I keep talking but you can’t hear me.
Through the words of my whispering rapids
I try to tell you something.
How will you ever get to know me in the silted LO-FI of your city?
And grasp my contexts through the roar of your engine
cutting out the trill of my friend?

In this bed of concrete you gag me,
sealing my lips with yet more asphalt.

With a scientific eye, you analyse the charts,
trying to assess my condition,
not knowing that attentive listening is the only door to dialogue.

And what if….?
What if something positive was made of my acoustics?
My voice amplified?
The sounds of the past preserved, strengthened and sharpened?
The sonic sound of the world improved?

My name is Ślepiotka, and ‘Blindie’ am I indeed,
your own reflection.
Man- dominated for years and chained at last.
Crammed into a straight death-bed,
Forgotten.

And Finally!… Free at last?
Under the veil of oblivion, I break free from your bondage.
Destroying the concrete walls.

I soak with myself the relic specimens of riparian forests,
in waters of mine immerse the dying peatlands,
and open ajar the eco paths for animals.

Let go of control and let me embrace you.
Reborn in samsara, the wheel of life
Circulating between the heaven and the earth.
